No Man's Sky's Next PC Patch Detailed


   No Man's Sky developer Hello Games has detailed a patch it will be releasing for the PC version of the game. In an update on the its Steam page, the studio said the patch is "coming soon" and will fix some of the issues that players have been reporting.

Uncharted Movie Loses Release Date


     The long-in-development Uncharted movie has suffered another apparent setback. Comingsoon.net reports that Sony Pictures has removed the action-adventure movie from its release calendar. Previously, the film was expected to come to theaters on June 30, 2017.
   In late July, it was announced that Joe Carnahan (The Grey, The A-Team) would write the script for the Uncharted movie. At the time, he said he was interested in directing it, too, but it's unclear if he has been assigned that role. Carnahan is directing 2018's Bad Boys for Life, but whether or not this has anything to do with the Uncharted film losing its release date remains to be seen.

Classic Iron Man Character Making Return for Spider-Man: Homecoming


   Jon Favreau might be one of the most successful directors in Hollywood right now, but Marvel fans will also know him as Happy Hogan, bodyguard and chauffeur for Tony Stark. It has been reported that Favreau will reprise his role in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided's First Story DLC Gets Details and Release Date


   Square Enix has detailed the first DLC update for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. The story-based content is called "System Rift," and will feature the return of Frank Pritchard, Sarif Industries' head of the cyber-security. The character was last seen in Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
"In System Rift you will re-unite with Frank Pritchard, Adam's friend and former colleague at Sarif Industries, and assist him in hunting down information on the mysterious Santeau Group," the publisher explains in a press release.

Activision Promising "Additional Game Reveals" for Call of Duty Event Today


    Activision's Call of Duty fan event, Call of Duty XP, kicks off today in California. In a news release sent out this morning, the publisher teased that the show's opening briefing will feature "additional game reveals," as well as some kind of "news" and more. Additionally, Activision will for the first time show off Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty Remastered's multiplayer modes during the event.

New Xbox One S Deal Presents You with A $50 Gift Card and Extra Free Game


    The good, sweet deals on the Xbox One S keep coming. One of the newest offers comes from Microsoft itself. The company's Microsoft Store is throwing in a $50 gift card and a free game when you buy one of the new bundles from them. The free game choices are quite limited, but free is free. These games, which along with the $50 Microsoft Store gift card show up at checkout, include Watch Dogs, The Crew, Just Dance 2016, and Just Dance: Disney Party 2.

Creed Actor Michael B. Jordan Will Feature in NBA 2K17's Career Mode


   Creed and Fruitvale Station actor Michael B. Jordan will be featured in NBA 2K17, 2K Sports announced today. He'll show up in the professional basketball game's MyCareer mode. Jordan had his likeness captured for the game, while he also recorded audio. He plays the character Justice Young, a rising NBA star that teams up with a character you create for the mode.

Logitech Reveals New Mouse, Keyboard, and Headset Lineup


    Hardware manufacturer Logitech has unveiled its latest range of PC peripherals with two new mice, a keyboard, and a headset as part of its Prodigy series line-up. The hardware is targeted at gamers and features "high-performance technology, exceptional comfort, and a sleek and modern design."
     The first of the two new mice is the Logitech G403 Prodigy Gaming Mouse, a wired mouse that offers programmable lighting, buttons, and DPI. The G403 features "the world's most advanced gaming mouse sensor" and will be priced at $69.99/€69.99.

Jumanji Sequel Star The Rock Reveals His Rugged Adventurer Look


With his work on Baywatch and Fast & Furious 8 finished, the ever-busy Dwayne Johnson is about to start shooting his third film of the year--the Jumanji sequel. Street Fighter 5 Double Fight Money Event Detailed



    Capcom has disclosed its first Street Fighter 5 Double Fight Money event. Between September 2 at 4PM PT and September 4 at 9PM PT, players taking part in Ranked Matches online will earn double the rewards.
     For those not familiar, Fight Money is Street Fighter 5's in-game currency. It can be used to purchase alternative costumes for fighters, titles to use in your player card, new characters, and stages. Characters and stages are the two most expensive items, coming in at 100,000 FM and 70,000 FM each.

BT Sues Valve for Patent Infringements on Steam

   

     British Telecom, a multinational telecommunications company based in the UK, is suing Valve for using technologies it claims to have invented. According to BT, Valve is infringing its patents on "a broad range of products and services" including "Steam Library, Steam Chat, Steam Messaging, and Steam Broadcasting."
    In the suit filed, BT asserts that Valve has infringed four patents. The first of these is the Gittins Patent, which "relates generally to providing users with content that originates from multiple subscription services and delivering it through a single portal where a customer may access content."

Netflix's Luke Cage Video Shows Its Hip-Hop Inspiration


    Ahead of its debut in September, Netflix has released a new promotional video for Luke Cage centered around its hip-hop inspirations. The video features a bunch of footage from the show intercut with many of the people involved in the show talking about the creation of its music.
     "From a musical perspective, Ali [Shaheed Muhammad, music supervisor] and I look at this as, we're creating 13 albums. It's 13 episodes; it's like 13 albums," said fellow music supervisor Adrian Younge.

Windows 8 and 10's Boring Old Solitaire Has Gotten a Huge Number of Players


      Solitaire has been a Microsoft mainstay since Windows 3.0, and now its newest version, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, has hit more than 100 million unique users. This comes about a year after Microsoft celebrated Solitaire's 25th anniversary.
      Microsoft released some facts about Windows Solitaire on the official Xbox website, where we learn that an average of 55 million games of Microsoft Solitaire Collection are played every day. On top of that, through the game's Xbox Live Achievements, players have earned more than 1.3 billion Gamerscore. Microsoft also claims that Solitaire in general is "one of the most played games of all time on any Windows OS."

Uncharted 4 Free Update Features Behemoth Map, Makes All These Changes


   Naughty Dog has released new DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's multiplayer mode. Following the Lost Treasures expansion in July comes a new update today that introduces a map called New Devon.
     One of the biggest piece of feedback since launch has been around maps; players want more of them, Naughty Dog's Scott Lowe said in a PlayStation Blog post.

With a Definitive Edition Coming, MGS5: The Phantom Pain's Mission 51 Won't Be Completed


    Konami ruffled some feathers last year when a key mission from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was cut from the game, leaving video of it to be included with the collector's edition. A complete edition of the game, known as the Definitive Experience, is now on the way, but don't expect to see anything from the excised Mission 51 to come with it.

A "Damp Seats" Count, Zombies, and More in This Weird PS4 Rollercoaster Game


    Many players, myself included, have a lot of nostalgia for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and developers have tried to recapture the magic of those games over the years. Now, PS4 and PS VR are getting a new amusement park management game--but it might not be exactly what RollerCoaster Tycoon fans had in mind.
    Rollercoaster Dreams is a game from developer Bimboosoft, which has previously made titles like Dream Match Tennis and Line Space Wars. This is the company's first foray into VR, and Bimboosoft released a trailer today showing off some of the game's features. It's bizarre, to say the least. You can watch it below.

Destiny: The Collection Listed on Amazon


     Online retailer Amazon has listed Destiny: The Collection for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, suggesting a re-release of Bungie's sci-fi shooter may be on the way.
 The listing was spotted by Twitter user Lifelower, who took a picture of it before Amazon pulled it down. The game was listed for an August 18 release, which would place it about a month ahead the Rise of Iron expansion's release.

A Fat Bird With a Grenade Launcher Is Battleborn's Next Character

    
        With Battleborn's second free DLC character making his debut today for some players, Gearbox has already revealed its next character, Ernest. Ernest is described as being a "defensive mastermind with a strong devotion to protecting his allies." Based on the lone piece of concept art released so far, he looks to be a chubby, headband-wearing bird creature who wields a grenade launcher.

Rainbow Six Siege Skull Rain Expansion's Map and Improvements Revealed


    Having revealed it earlier this week, Ubisoft has now provided new information regarding Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming Operation Skull Rain expansion. This begins with Favela, the new map coming to all players for free as part of the update. We get a quick look at this new locale in the new video above. As part of the original announcement, Ubisoft claimed it's the most destructible map released yet, which we now know is because it adds "exterior shell destruction."

Titanfall 2 Dev Teases Multiplayer and Network Changes


    Respawn Entertainment has revealed a new video series for Titanfall 2 called "Inside Development." As producer Drew McCoy explains in the introduction video below, this will be a series where developers speak directly to fans about the design decisions they made and the reasoning for them.
