A "Damp Seats" Count, Zombies, and More in This Weird PS4 Rollercoaster Game


    Many players, myself included, have a lot of nostalgia for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and developers have tried to recapture the magic of those games over the years. Now, PS4 and PS VR are getting a new amusement park management game--but it might not be exactly what RollerCoaster Tycoon fans had in mind.
    Rollercoaster Dreams is a game from developer Bimboosoft, which has previously made titles like Dream Match Tennis and Line Space Wars. This is the company's first foray into VR, and Bimboosoft released a trailer today showing off some of the game's features. It's bizarre, to say the least. You can watch it below.

PS4's VR Game Boxes Have a Very Casual Way of Telling You What You Need


     With the launch of PlayStation VR set for later this year, boxes for VR-only games are going to need a way to communicate to consumers that more than just a PS4 is required to play them. Sony seems to have come up with a very casual way of doing so.
    Box art for a pair of PS VR launch games, PlayStation VR Worlds and Rigs: Mechanized Combat League, have appeared on Best Buy's website. Both feature identical additions to the usual PS4 packaging.

PS4 Exclusive Nioh Lets You Choose to Improve Frame Rate or Resolution


     When it comes to console gaming, you normally won't be given a choice when it comes to technical settings. That's not the case with PS4 exclusive, Nioh, which allows you to choose between a more stable frame rate or a higher resolution.
    A free demo of Nioh is currently on offer from the PS4's store, and video game analyst ZhugeEX noticed the Game Mode setting. It lets you switch between "Action" and "Movie," which allows you to stabilize the frame rate or achieve a higher resolution respectively.

Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios has tackled PC players' concern about the game's technical problems, promising to release a patch, but didn't announce when it woiuld be released.

Mad Max Discounted for PlayStation's 12 Deals of Xmas


As part of its 12 Deals of Christmas promotion, which offers a new game for cheaper than usual every 48 hours, Sony has discounted Mad Max by 40 percent.

PlayStation Store's New Wishlist Feature


Sony has introduced a new Wishlist feature to the PlayStation Store, allowing users to add "games, movies and TV shows to keep track of everything you want." Just in time for Christmas.

New PS4 Custom Faceplates Launching in Australia This November

PlayStation Australia has announced that new coloured custom faceplates for the PlayStation 4 will be launching in Australia on November 19. They will be sold at JB Hi-Fi and EB Games stores. Check out the images below to see close-ups of the colours that will be available.

Until Dawn Could Add Virtual Reality DLC, Report Says


Sony is performing market tests in the UK for new Until Dawn DLC called "Rush of Blood" which, according Destructoid, is a first-person on-rails shooter designed to work for PlayStation VR.
The site claims to have received an email, which it says has been "verified and confirmed through a second independent source," describing the experience.

Xbox One And PS4 Sales Figures Beating The Previous Gen By 40 Percent


Hooray, console sales figures time! The latest figures suggest the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One combined have sold 40% more than they did at this point last generation, which is around 23 months since launch. There’s a lot of naysaying about the Xbox One, but in terms of the numbers of units shifted, Microsoft’s console still isn’t too far shy of the Xbox 360’s success.

Hey!! PS4 Price Cuts in Europe


Sony has announced the PlayStation 4 will now be available in Europe for a recommended retail price of €349.99/£299.99. "Since the launch of PS4 our aim has always been to provide players with the best gaming experiences at the best value, and we’ve been thrilled with the amount of players who have joined our world," the company said.

New PlayStation 4 Firmware Update Will Introduce Fresh Stickers

Sony has confirmed a new system update will be deployed on PlayStation 4 starting Tuesday. Update 3.10 will allow users to follow the verified accounts of game developers and customise messages with a selection of new stickers.
