New PlayStation 4 Firmware Update Will Introduce Fresh Stickers

Sony has confirmed a new system update will be deployed on PlayStation 4 starting Tuesday. Update 3.10 will allow users to follow the verified accounts of game developers and customise messages with a selection of new stickers.

According to a Tweet by the official PlayStation Europe account, the update will bring "more" changes and functionality, but what these are is unclear as of yet as Sony has not released the patch notes. Stickers were introduced as part of the previous PS4 console update, which introduced a number of "entirely new features." Among these new features was the option to share videos directly to Twitter, a dedicated PlayStation Plus section, and tweaks to the interface for streaming on YouTube. Improvements were also made to the messages and favourites group, along with the introduction of an option to save screenshots as PNGs, and create groups. Online storage capacity was also increased from 1 GB to 10 GB for PS Plus Members.
