Bethesda's Fallout 4 has already won a Game of the Year award, but that's not the only honor showered on the post-apocalyptic RPG. The real-world dog who did the motion-capture for Dogmeat in the game was named Top Video Game Dog of 2015 at CW's World Dog Awards for her role in Fallout 4. Yes, the World Dog Awards exist. The winners of this year's World Dog Awards were actually revealed in the middle of January, but Bethesda only just this week talked about its win.
The developer shared the image below, flaunting the real-world Dogmeat, a German Shepard named River, along with her fire hydrant prize.Joel Burgess, who is Bethesda's lead designer happens to be River's owner.

It's not immediately clear what other video game dogs were nominated for Top Video Game Dog of 2015. Another standout last year was D-Dog from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
