German Store Listing Asserts Battlefield 5 Is Set During World War One

German retailer, World of Games, has put up a listing for Battlefield 5, touting an October 25th launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Though, we already know Battlefield 5 is planned to come this financial year. Where things get interesting is the site’s description of the game, which actually seems more informed than most. "Mehrspieler Taktik Shooter im 1. Weltkrieg" reads World of Games' Battlefield 5 page, which when translated means 'multiplayer tactical shooter set in World War I'. That would be a game-changer for the long-running series, and possibly a much needed refresh following three mainline modern warfare outings, along with the Bad Company spin-offs.

For quite a while now, news has had it that developer, DICE, was looking outside the usual realm for the Battlefield sequel, and the First World War is definitely an untapped resource for multiplayer shooters. Personally, I’d love to see DICE take a stab at this. I grew tired of modern warfare when BF3 hit and subsequently BF4 was just more of the same (albeit good) game.
What about you? How would you take to a WW1 setting? If this listing isn’t true, what war or theme would you like to see Battlefield 5 based upon?
