Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg has offered a bit more insight on the report yesterday where the company announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider sold 1 million copies this holiday.
In fact, the action-adventure game sold "well over" 1 million units, Greenberg said on Twitter, also confirming that the number represents copies sold through, not just shipped. Rise of the Tomb Raider was one of four Microsoft-published Xbox One games that sold about 1 million copies this holiday. The others were Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War Ultimate Edition, and Forza 6.
