Fallout 4's only been out for just over a week, right? Yet, there's been hundreds of mods created. Even while the official Fallout 4 mod development kit isn't even out yet,it hasn't stopped the modders from beavering away on all sorts of creations.
I've covered this one already (here), but this particular mod switches out Fallout 4’s paraphrased response options and lets you know the full dialogue your character is going to say.
Only truly essential if you can’t get a playable frame rate out of Fallout 4, the Ultra Low Graphics Mod allows even lower-end PCs and laptops to get a playable frame rate out of Fallout 4. It might not look like the prettiest game, but it’s still Fallout!
The ever-popular Enhanced Blood Textures mod from dDefinder returns. Last seen in Skyrim, this mod adds high resolution blood decals that are both more realistic and in greater quantities than that seen in the base game.
Fallout 4 has some absolutely awesome weathering and lightning effects, but this particular mod ups the ate even further. FO4 Rain drastically improves the rain effects seen in Fallout 4, as well as retexturing the ripples of rain hitting surfaces. One for those who love realism.
Fallout 4 had plenty of problems at launch, and this rapidly made Configuration Tool manages to sort out many of the key issues. The Fallout 4 Configuration Tool allows users to tweak the field of view, toggle mouse acceleration, lock the frame rate, skip the splash screens, and loads more.
Keeping with the water theme, WET - Water Enhanced Textures retextures Fallout 4’s base water effects, allowing ripples of water to overlap one another for a more realistic effect. WET also adds new foam textures and water animations.
Encumbrance in Fallout 4 is an absolute pain. You can’t go for more that five minutes before having to fast travel back to base, which adds absolutely no element of fun to Fallout 4. Bethesda cry realism of course, but I have to draw the line here. You can carry more than is humanly possible in Fallout 4, so why not just get rid of the restrictions entirely. If you don’t want to totally cheat, this mod can also allow you to tweak the bonus you get for increasing your strength. Not one for the purists, but trust me when I say it’s a game-changer.
Ever wished your settlement could be bigger? Look and Wish no more as this mod allows you to expand your settlement!
You'll probably agree with me when I say the ability to craft ammo is a missing feature - or was- until this mod surfaced? Well, it's here though, stated by the modder that it's still in its early stage. We really should lookout for this mod!
