Relive Dragon Valley With Free Map Update Coming To Battlefield 4

Despite pushing out Star Wars Battlefront in a matter of days time, DICE continues its fine run of post-launch support for Battlefield 4 with the announcement of some new free DLC. Dragon Valley 2015 is a map based on the fan-favourite Dragon Valley from Battlefield 2, given a few tweaks to bring it up to date. That dreadful launch for Battlefield 4 feels like a distant memory now.

Dragon Valley’s a huge map with a whopping 10 flags to capture, suited to the huge array of vehicles available in Battlefield 4. With so many capture points there’s a constant see-saw effect as you can’t effectively defend them all, making it a perfect choice for tank pros weaving between points.  In terms of changes, Battlefield 2 had a much shorted draw distance back then so DICE has added a greater deal of verticality to the terrain to combat this. The destructible and repairable bridges remain, while the map has also been altered to accommodate Rush play.
