This announcement comes after Pro Skater 5's much-criticized release on Tuesday; players quickly reported bugs and other issues. While there's no concrete release date for the content, it will be available completely free of charge. It is unclear if this free DLC is in any way a reaction to the problems. For its part, Activision has responded, saying it is working with Pro Skater 5 developers Robomodo and Disruptive Games on a patch that will address some of the skateboarding game's issues. However, there is no time table for when this patch--or the free DLC--will be released. Pro Skater 5 is available today across Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 editions, which lack the "seamless" online multiplayer featured included in the new-generation versions, are scheduled to launch in November for $40.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is out now in North America and Europe on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Its North American launch was accompanied by a massive 7.7GB patch, which is larger than the game itself. It is also in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but those versions don't release until November 13 in Europe and November 10 in North America.
