Newly designed HALO vehicles

Ahead of its release later this month, 343 Industries has disclosed new details about some of the Covenant vehicles players will discover in Halo 5: Guardians. In its recent Canon Fodder blog post, 343 shared renders of the enemy ships and explained some of their new features and functionality. There's a reason these trademark Halo vehicles, such as the Banshee and Wraith, look and perform differently than the last time we saw them.

343 explains: "During Halo 5: Guardians, the Sangheili are embroiled in a massive civil war that tears apart their homeworld of Sanghelios. In these tumultuous times both the Covenant and Swords of Sanghelios have reopened long-dormant manufacturing facilities and turned to allied colonies to provide much-needed vehicles and munitions." The Banshee, for example, now has an energy shield, while the update Ghost will offer a "greater level of protection and higher performance." The Wraith, meanwhile, is smaller and more agile.
