Game Reviews : Near Orbit vanguard Alliance (NOVA)

NOVA 3:

Nova 3 is a first person shooter,  sci-fi game developed and published by Gameloft for iOS,  android and blackberry 10. It is the third installment  in the series.

Play as Kal wardin, the former N.O.V.A commander, who receives a distress call from his AI, Yelena, on the long abandoned planet Earth. He crash lands on the city of old San Francisco and joins up with Sergeant Becker and his N.O.V.A. squad to fight their way back to the N.O.V.A base, while also disabling a Signal Jammer a bomb goes off detaining him he then heads to the sensor arrays after repairing them you then head to the base. At the base, Kal finds out that the N.O.V.A has stolen the Judger's artifact .The artifact could transform Earth back into the habitable planet it once was. But the Judgers were not people to play with, and knowing this, Kal vows that after saving the Judger's artifact from the hands of the notorious Volterites, he would be resigning from N.O.V.A, and this time, permanently. He and Sergeant Becker ride a 4x4 to the artifact location. As instructed to, Becker gets on the gun of the 4x4 and covers the entrance. Kal manages to reach the artifact, but right next to it stands Prometheus, who forbids him to get the artifact. Prometheus explains he is the hand of the Judgers, and he will be returning the artifact to them.  Prometheus then tells Kal that unsurprisingly, Becker was overpowered and killed by the swarm of Volterites at the entrance. He then explains that Kal will have to retrieve two more artifacts for the Judgers in order to stop them from "cleansing" the world, killing both humans and Volterites in the process. Prometheus also tells him that He will have to get to the Fyna galaxy and battle for the second artifact. To cut it short,  it's a war against aliens invading the earth and the fun never seems to end!

NOVA 3 delivers a powerful storyline in a graphically exciting world. Its environments are detailed and as you play, you will be able to explore the beautifully designed locations and kill all the enemies that gets in your way. There are multiple types of aliens that you need to engage, and you also have various ways to kill them. Alongside the normal on-foot attacks, you can also engage in battle with the help of mechs, or you can sometimes man the weapons you can find on top of the trucks located in this massive game world. There are various types of weapons, each with its capacity,  and you will have to use the currency you acquire from killing enemies in order to purchase new ones (or you can be Kevin Hart in 'ride along'  and look for ammo).  The controls are intuitive, responsive and it takes quite a little time to grasp!  The graphics are really spectacular and its visual effects are impressive.  The enemies look real enough and the sound is of good quality, with numerous interesting tunes to listen to while you kill enemies, and some great voice acting that you can hear when you talk with non-playable characters. This is by far one of the most graphically appealing titles that you can find on mobile and it is highly recommended for you!
