Sony has confirmed the Gravity Rush 2 release date as September 2 in North America, November 30 in Europe, and December 2 in UK. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed that those who pre-order the PS4 game from select retailers will receive an alternate white DLC costume for protagonist Kat.
Additionally, pre-order customers will get a Director’s Choice Soundtrack from Gravity Rush 2. Pre-orders from the PlayStation Store will receive both of these pre-order items, with a PS4 theme on top.
Before Gravity Rush 2 launches, Sony will be releasing an anime called "Gravity Rush: The Animation ~ Overture ~." This is designed to fill in the gap between the first Gravity Rush and the sequel. It is being produced by Studio Khara, which previously worked on Rebuild of Evangelion.
