The Long-awaited Naughty Dog Action-adventure PlayStation 4 exclusive, Uncharted 4, has yet been delayed again, as we learnt last night. PlayStation president Shawn Layden said the delay was due in part to Sony needing more time to manufacture game discs to meet the game's "considerable worldwide demand." Now, game director Neil Druckmann has offered his own take on the game's latest delay.
This'll make for a smooth worldwide launch. Thanks for your patience... It'll be worth it at the end. Promise. https://t.co/UZwCjFEDIW— Neil Druckmann (@Neil_Druckmann) March 2, 2016
Writing on Twitter, Druckmann thanked fans for their patience and said the two-week delay will help the game have a "smooth worldwide launch." It's been a long time coming for Uncharted 4. The PS4-exclusive was first scheduled to launch in 2015, but was later moved to March 2016 and then again to April 2016 before its latest delay to May 2016.
