Guess What Ubisoft's Fastest Selling Game is?! The Division!!

     The Division has been up and selling and has unsurprisingly sold through more copies in its first 24 hours than any other game in Ubisoft's history. The company disclosed the news in a press release today, which said the multiplayer shooter also set Ubisoft digital sales records across its available platforms. Although Ubisoft said The Division is its fastest-selling game ever, the company did not provide any further information on the exact number of copies sold or the sales records mentioned.

     Ubisoft Massive managing director David Polfeldt said the studio is extremely happy with The Division's launch. He also added that it represents Ubisoft at its best, saying it was developed by Massive and its associate studios "working at maximum capacity in highly-productive collaboration." 
Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot says this demonstrates the company's "unrivalled capacity" to create new franchises and "transform them into entertainment blockbusters."

"This is a momentous day for Ubisoft, but more importantly it marks the start of millions of players' enduring engagement in The Division's game world, which we are confident they will love," Guillemot said.
