Titanfall 2 Pre-Order Boxes Spotted In GameStop Stores Hint Full Reveal Is Coming Soon

From the looks of it, Titanfall 2 seems it's going to be announced any day now. Gamers Stateside have spotted retail store, Gamestop, putting out placeholder boxes to pre-order Titanfall 2, suggesting a reveal could be coming this week via Game Informer, Gamestop’s in-house magazine. Listings for Titanfall 2 have also popped up on the GameStop website and across various Amazon stores, listing just the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions, although presumably a PC edition is in the works too.
Obviously, Titanfall 2 is no secret; the team at Respawn has openly spoken about a sequel being in the works, but on this basis it’s looking a s if there’s a possibility it could be along soon. Presumably EA is handling publishing duties once more. Take a look at its 2016 lineup and you’ll see it’s looking pretty bare. Now this is going to be bolstered by Battlefield 5 later in the year, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Titanfall join it by Q1 2017 at the latest.

Last we heard of Titanfall 2 was it would be packing a full single-player campaign, along with the possibility of an accompanying TV show. The SP element should help lend a bit of backbone to the universe Respawn has created, with CEO Vince Zampella suggesting Titanfall 2 will be a meeting point between science and magic, "but keeping it grounded and dirty and human and real.”
