Just Cause 3 PC Graphics Problems Reported

Just Cause 3 is pretty great, when it works. But like any huge game launch, it’s not without its fair share of teething problems. One of the biggest issues facing AMD owners is incompatibility with the Radeon Software Crimson driver, released last week.

Various graphical problems have been discovered in the PC build of Just Cause 3, with customers complaining of frame rate issues that appear to be related to video card drivers, causing the entire world to disappear and polygonal holes to appear in the ground, ready to swallow up Rico Rodriguez who.e. It's rendered Just Cause 3 totally unplayable. Which is never good, when you’re trying to save the world. Luckily, there's a temporary fix until Avalanche gets Just Cause 3 patched up.

If you’re a Radeon owner suffering glitches in Just Cause 3 then luckily there is a very simple fix. Simply download and install the latest hotfix AMD drivers released yesterday. Radeon Software Crimson Edition beta 15.11.1 is the version you need, and it should in theory get rid of the problem entirely.
“There are some known issues that occur with the most recent official release AMD/ATi graphics card drivers,” wrote Square Enix’s Jason Walker. “We’re working with AMD to fix the issue via an upcoming official driver update – however to ensure you don’t experience these issues yourself right now please make sure you are using the latest beta driver available here (they are dated 11/30/2015 Version 15.11.1)”
Players with PCs that use AMD graphics cards are urged to update to the latest beta driver while a long-term fix is developed. [The beta driver is dated November 30, Ver 15.11.1, and can be found here)
