For many, it was a huge disappointment when it was announced that Just Cause 3 wouldn't have a multiplayer component considering how fun the multiplayer mod for Just Cause 2 is. Fortunately, the same people responsible for that mod are now at work on adding a multiplayer component to the PC version of Just Cause 3.
On the official website for the existing mod, JC2-MP, the development team announced its plan to release a follow-up, JC3-MP, for Just Cause 3. There aren't yet any details on when the mod will be available, but we'll apparently be hearing about it regularly going forward.
"We're incredibly excited to show off the progress we've made these last few weeks," the mod team said today. "Moving forward you can expect frequent updates on our progress along with exciting new developments as they happen."
