Travel back in time, and try to recollect Microsoft announcing Gears of War: Ultimate Edition would be coming to PC. The Xbox One version came and went in August, and we haven’t seen one Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition on PC.
Well, Microsoft wants us to reassured us it is still coming, even if it doesn’t look as if it’s coming anytime soon. A community manager from developer The Coalition has said the PC version of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is coming along very nicely, shaping up to be the definitive version of Epic's shooter.
"We do not have any news to share at this time for the PC version. I know some are worried but please don't fret. We are wanting to make sure polish and performance are prioritized on the PC version so that you all have a great experience," wrote TC PezRadar over on the Gears of War forums. "Once we have additional information, I can say you will be the first to know. I'm pretty stoked for the PC version myself as I am an avid PC gamer :)”
If you aren’t familiar with the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, it’s the first game, remastered, with higher resolution visuals, an unlimited frame rate and 7.1 surround sound, along with all of the released DLC maps and characters, dedicated servers and three new game types.
