Fallout 4: Encountered this game-crashing bug?

Several users have complained about a serious game-crashing bug in Bethesda's open-world role-playing game, Fallout 4. As presented on the Bethesda forums, the bug in question concerns a settlement quest which requires players to make for Mosignor Plaza.

Upon attempting to travel there, several players have encountered a game crash straight to the desktop, without an error message. The bug has reportedly affected users on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. While there have been several reports of glitches in the game emerging online, not many of them have been game-breaking. In fact, some can be used to the player's advantage.
