Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen PC Gameplay Trailer Shows You The Ropes

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, one of the finest console RPGs yet to grace the shores of PC land, is set to arrive in January, all HD-ified and no doubt bringing with it, mountains of post-launch DLC and assorted gubbins. Since landing on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2012, it’s become something of a cult favourite.

Up until now Capcom’s been pretty coy about showing us gameplay footage, but in this new four minute gameplay demo we can see precisely what it’s going to look like. Beware - this is very much a seventh-gen game, but we do at least get the opportunity to push the resolution right up for better image quality. This is a decent look at precisely how Dragon’s Dogma will play on PC. It looks as if it’s been created with controller play in mind though, including those on-screen prompts, so you might be best dusting off that Xbox 360 gamepad. Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is penciled in for a January 2016 launch, which should help us get through that darkest of months, with wind and rain battering the doors.
