With the video game SOMA being released last week, it seems the time is right for the universe to be expanded and for more stories to be told. as Frictional Games has announced that a live-action video series spin-off is being released. The series will explore what happened at PATHOS-II, the doomed underwater research facility where the game was set. The episodes will run from September 28th to October 5th on developer and publisher Frictional Games’ YouTube channel. With the success of the game and now the series, it may look like SOMA is all set to become a major franchise in the near future. Watch the first video below :
