Batman : Arkham Knight was released back in June across all gaming platforms. The game itself is really good. Everyone was loving the story and the visuals were spot on with the PS4 version in particular. However, it took only two days before it was pulled from the Steam store by Warner Brothers as the PC gamers found their voice.
Dark Knight was a mess on PC. It ran terribly even on certain powerful PC hardware and had limited graphic options to help combat the travesty. This rare situation saw a top tier game being forced out the door, in a poor state, in order to capitalise on the timed global marketing campaign. Following a tonne of patches and updates for the PC version, Batman Arkham Knight has just been allocated its new re-release date and it happens in a couple of days.
"At 10 am PDT, Oct. 28th, Batman: Arkham Knight will be re-released for the PC platform. At the same time we’ll also be releasing a patch that brings the PC version fully up-to-date with content that has been released for console (with the exception of console exclusives). This means that next week, all PC players will have access to Photo Mode, Big Head Mode, Batman: Arkham Asylum Batman Skin, and character selection in combat AR challenges.”With some massive titles around the corner, like Fallout 4, Battlefront, COD Black ops 3, Starcraft 2 Legacy of the Void, Assassins Creed Syndicate on PC, its hard to really imagine that Batman Arkham Knight on PC is going to get all that much attention from PC gamers. So Batman Arkham Knight will be re-released on October 28th to the PC market. Everyone who already has it will get a patch update and everyone who hasn't gotten it will be able to buy the PC Batman AK on Wednesday.
Let us all know below if you are still going to pick this title up or miss Batman on PC.
