Another one of Sony's Paris Games Week surprises appears to have been spoiled. The company is reportedly gearing up to announce its own competitive gaming platform called PlayStation Plus League.
As discovered by IGN, a French website for the league went up recently, revealing dedicated online leagues for games like Street Fighter V, Battlefield Hardline, FIFA 16, Rocket League, and Project Cars, among others. The Project Cars website appears to confirm this. It also reveals that players will be able to win real money if they place high enough in the tournament series. Given its name, it would appear that PlayStation Plus League tournaments will be available only for paying subscribers, though further details are not available at this time.
