PEGI Listing Leaks DriveClub Bikes PS4 Exclusive Ahead Of Paris Games Week

A game listing briefly surfaced on the Pan European Game Information (PEGI) board, revealing the content rating service had rate an as-yet-unannounced PlayStation 4 exclusive - DriveClub Bikes. Unlike the previous DriveClub DLC this has an entirely separate rating, suggesting this could be an all new racing game from Evolution Studios.

As you can no doubt surmise from the title, this looks to be a two-wheeled spin-off of last year’s DriveClub, and it appears as if Sony is preparing to reveal it during tonight’s Paris Games Week press conference. DriveClub director Paul Rustchynsky added fuel to the flames when he said he was super excited about the show, revealing he was at an airport, presumably heading to the event itself. 

It’s certainly something that makes a lot of sense for Evolution Studios. DriveClub’s poor launch forced Sony to downsize the outfit, but DriveClub Bikes sounds like a simpler prospect to create than the original IP. There’s a dearth of road racing motorbike games out there, so this could fill that niche nicely.
