After years of development, Bethesda Game Studios has completed work on Fallout 4, the base game at least. The developer made the "gone gold" announcement on Twitter today, October 23.
Although Bethesda has finished development on Fallout 4, the developer isn't moving on to its next project just yet. The studio is now working on the game's expansions, the first of which will launch in 2016. In addition, Bethesda continues to work on the game's PC modding tools, which won't be available at launch. The Fallout 4 release date is set for November 10.
