You ever wished you could add new cars, change your wardrobe (I mean in the game), change your weapon's or probably add new weapons, new buildings, new characters, new features and many more to GTA San Andreas?
Well, it's pretty much possible and by following this guide, you'll be making your San Andreas dreams come true!! First, you'll need to backup your got San Andreas files, just to be on the safer side as rockstar games aren't the ones releasing these modifications.
Adding new cars:
Tools required: IMG tool v2.0
If for example, we want to replace the turismo, here's how to go about it:
Download file replacement here.
Extract the files 'turismo.dff' and 'turismo.txd' to your desktop, then, open IMG tool and press "Ctrl + L" to open directory or click on files>open> C:/Programs/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas/models/gta3.img.
Press "f2" to search and in the search box, type "turismo.dff" and click OK, select turismo.dff and right click on it, then click "extract" to backup your original files (optional).
Select turismo.dff in IMG tool and right click, select "replace" and go to your desktop (or anywhere you kept the turismo files you downloaded), and replace it, follow the same process for "turismo.txd", click on command, select rebuild archive and wait till it's done, start your game and look for the turismo, it will be the one you just added. Easy huh?
Follow the same process for other cars, bikes, helicopters and boats. Look out for more GTA San Andreas modification guides.
