Call of duty: Ghosts was mainly developed by infinity ward with extra contributions from Raven software, Neversoft, Certain Affinity and Treyarch. It was published by Activision and it is the tenth installment in the call of duty series. It is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
Set in an alternate timeline that follows the nuclear destruction of the middle East. The game's main protagonists are the Ghosts, a force of U.S special operations personnel, trained to conduct secret missions behind enemy lines. The unit is led by a retired U.S army captain Elias Walker who teams up with his sons, Logan Walker and David Walker, along with a playable, trained German Shepherd named Riley. Riley has proven to be a very useful addition to the game as he is capable of taking out enemies silently and also saves your character more than once throughout the game. Its main antagonist is Gabriel Rorke, the former leader of ghosts who was captured by federation, tortured and brainwashed. now, he works for federation and goes up against the Ghosts he once led.
The story is mostly told through the eyes of only one character, Logan Walker. players assume the role of Logan Walker for most parts of the game with several other playable character. The game has highly defined graphics like most games in the series and possesses a fast, fluid gameplay and a variety of environments that keeps the campaign fresh. Here, instead of fighting at ground level, you have the opportunity to rapel down skyscrapers, fly helicopters, have firefights in space, command tanks, scuba dive through shipwrecks, play as a dog and evade sharks in the deep sea. It requires new strategies, keen situational awareness and realism. As in other call of duty installments, ghosts has detailed setpieces, crazy shootouts but we mustn't overlook its downside -- it lacks a bit in the storyline and lacks the player choice element introduced with call of duty: black ops II.
